Oliver Attard, our producer, and presenter is a classic car enthusiast that along the years was honored to occupy some positions by which he could help in the development of the classic cars and Motorsport scenes in Malta. Between 1997 and 2007 he ran V-Dubs Club Malta, a club dedicated to the Volkswagen Brand. (will be writing about this later but in the meantime, this is what we use to do  http://volksmalta.50megs.com/theclub/club.htm ) More or less at the same time, he joined Old Motors Club Malta and since then he occupied the post of Club Secretary. At around 2012 Oliver was approached to serve as General Secretary of the Malta Motorsport Federation and did so until he resigned from the post in mid-2018. Immediately after, he joined Respect Motorsport a pressure group making pressure on the Government of Malta to deliver his two times electoral promise of building or at least providing the land for a Motorsport circuit and educational facility in Malta.
During the time in which he occupied the post of General Secretary of the Malta Motorsport Federation, he worked a lot with journalists asking them to start covering Motorsport events. After trying for some time in vain in 2016 he decided to start doing it himself and launched motorsmt on a local private TV station. The following year he moved his program to the national TV Station. In 2018 he started producing his second weekly TV Program call acceler8 on another private TV station. That made it to one hour of airtime per week to promote Motorsport, not easy feet.
